TMACS

We ate a few times at T.Maccarones, but had not been to TMACS, the new iteration in a new location. It has a great feel - there's a dining room to the right of the front door, the bar with more dining to the left, and a mezzanine above the bar. The front corner of the dining room holds a piano; having live piano music floating through the restaurant is a nice touch.

TMACS is a popular place. We were there on a Wednesday and they were busy. Service was good; they were prepared for a full house. We tried their Wild Mushroom Bruschetta with gorgonzola dolce mousse, a bowl of the daily soup, Crab Ravioli, and Black Cod wrapped in prosciutto. There's always something special about starting a meal with a cocktail, appetizer, and pairing wine with entrees. We weren't disappointed - the meal felt celebratory, and it did mark the end of our Walla Walla visit. A good way to end!

They offer a nice selection of dishes without overwhelming you: four pastas, a duck, seafood, a few meat options. Starters, and several salads.

While we didn't visit, there is also TMACS Epicurean Kitchen selling meat, cheese, wine, cookbooks, mixers, spices, and more for your kitchen. Plus they'll pack up a gift basket for you. The Kitchen is open during restaurant hours.

TMACS offers take out and catering.
