Better than normal breakfast

There are a number of reasons to eat a good breakfast, but they always bump up against the time and motivation factors. Here's a quick recipe that is delicious and doesn't take that long to put together.

Sausage or bacon, egg, and cheese sort of sandwich

Serves 1

Ingredients

  • 1 slice of Dave's Killer Bread, thin-sliced
  • 1 slice of organic cheese, whatever you like
  • 1 organic sausage patty or 1 strip of organic bacon, chopped
  • 1 organic egg, fried
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp or less organic maple syrup (to taste)

Method

1. Lightly toast bread slice.

2. Cook bacon or sausage; chop into small pieces.

3. Fry egg.

4. Place toasted bread on plate. Top with slice of cheese, then chopped meat, then egg. Drizzle warmed syrup over top.

Note:

If you have already cooked the bacon or sausage and refrigerated it for later, all you need to do is warm it and chop. That saves a step.
