Coupeville

Captain Whidbey Inn

Since 1907, the building has sheltered and assisted Northwesterners, sometimes an inn, sometimes not. It is now, and whether you stay in the lodge upstairs, in a lagoon room, or one of the cabins, you'll feel the pull of time paired with the comforts of today. You don't need to be a guest to enjoy the dining room, however. Chef Ryan makes excellent use of local items from foraged mushrooms to Penn Cove mussels to herbs and edible flowers from the Captain's garden. Every effort is made to use sustainable, local ingredients. Be mesmerized by the beauty of Penn Cove from the dining room or the seasonal deck. Full bar. Check website for days/hours.
