Cooking with Class and Seattle Refined

Seattle Refined's Gaard Swanson decided to see what Cooking with Class is all about. Since the fundraising event involves working with chefs to learn how to make new dishes, we paired him up with Salty's on Alki's Executive Chef Paolo Carey-DiGregorio who walked him through the dish Paolo will be teaching at this year's event.

 Need we say more? Well, just one more thing. At the end of the shoot as we polished off what they'd made, Gaard said, "I'd really like to make this for my wife's birthday." Now that's a ringing endorsement.

Here's what happened in the Alki banquet kitchen and venue in June:
