Seattle DINING! and Executive Chef Joel Childs of Willows Lodge Barking Frog have teamed up to serve two of his most delectable bites at the upcoming James Beard Taste America: Seattle, taking place Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 6:00 PM at the Four Seasons Hotel Seattle.


Chef Joel Childs brings 17 years of international culinary experience to his current role as Executive Chef at the acclaimed Barking Frog restaurant at Willows Lodge. Known for his innovative approach to menu development and his collaboration with local farmers and artisans, Joel’s dedication to using the freshest seasonal ingredients has made Barking Frog one of the Eastside's premier dining destinations.



At the James Beard Taste America® event—presented by Capital One—Joel will be showcasing two signature bites, blending his expertise in fine dining with a focus on fun, approachable flavors. This national tasting event celebrates local restaurant communities and brings together chefs, special guests, and diners to highlight the independent restaurants at the heart of our communities.
