Ageless Chef Bettina Carey’s Sunday Supper Club: Bringing People Together Through Culinary Art and Community

Bettina Carey’s Sunday Supper began as a way to stay connected during COVID, bringing friends and family together virtually to keep the warmth of shared meals and conversation alive. What started as a small weekly tradition grew into Bettina’s Sunday Supper Club, an in-person event as of early 2024, now drawing nearly 100 attendees in groups of 12-24 from the Seattle-Des Moines area.

Each supper features a carefully curated six- to nine-course menu inspired by local flavors, seasonal ingredients, and Bettina’s Puerto Rican heritage. She often draws from iconic cookbooks by Duke’s Seafood, Chef John Howie, Chef Tom Douglas, and Ray’s Boathouse, and she loves partnering with local chefs to create unique culinary touches. Known as the Ageless Chef, Bettina also brings her supper club experience to homes, senior communities, or private events, creating a memorable, chef-driven evening wherever she goes.

Now editor and publisher of Seattle DINING! Bettina has expanded her influence in the culinary world, covering events like James Beard Taste America at Seattle’s Four Seasons and championing the Pacific Northwest’s food scene. Her Sunday Supper Club has become more than a meal—it’s a celebration of community, culinary artistry, and the joy of gathering for unforgettable experiences.
