June's a Winner!

Let's celebrate what's happening this spring before moving into summer full blast! Spring menus, fresh cocktails, award-winning spirits, a new location for a local favorite, and a fun annual foodie/travel event.

Barking Frog and Fireside Lounge at Willows Lodge

Spring and summer at Willows Lodge are a complete treat -luscious landscaping will have you completely relaxed. Maybe not so much--you'll be too excited about new spring menus and cocktails at Barking Frog and Fireside Lounge. Brunch might call for avocado toast with feta and pistachio-almond dukkah. A lovely afternoon/evening jumping off point is Infinity Pool (photo), a cocktail with Rumhaven, Peche de Vigne, grenadine, and lime soda on the Fireside Lounge menu. Barking Frog's wild salmon with peas/carrots/local alliums/dill/crêpe calls the summer you. Outdoor dining returns (weather permitting) and there's no place like the firepit area on the Fireside Lounge patio.

Barking Frog resides across from Willows Lodge at 14580 NE 145th Street in Woodinville. Barking Frog offers breakfast on weekdays 7-10:30 a.m., lunch 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. on weekdays, weekend brunch 7 a.m.-3 p.m., and dinner 5-9 p.m. daily. Fireside Lounge hours are 3-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, and 3-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday. Daily Happier Hour takes place 3-5:30 p.m. Willows Lodge 425-424-3900. Pogacha is located at 2707 78th Ave SE on Mercer Island. They offer lunch Wednesday-Friday 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., brunch Saturday-Sunday 10 a.m.-3 p.m., and dinner daily 4-9 p.m. Big Fish Fish and Chips on Sundays and Mondays! 425-455-5670. www.pogacha.com
