Pike Market Charm

Beverage take out – a bright spot during virus times

Bright spots are hard to find these days, but one that immediately comes to mind is the relaxation of rules on who can sell alcoholic beverages. Restaurants are selling bottles from the wine programs, pizza places have great deals on beer, wineries/breweries/distilleries/cideries have specials on product and sometimes shipping. There are non-alcoholic options as well. Take advantage!

John Howie Restaurants

The team that always helps the community is now helping all of us! Highlights: Beardslee Public House has Bloody Mary kits and pre-mixed Old Fashioneds, Margaritas, and Cosmos. Wildwood Spirits offers both their vodka and bourbon. Wine by the bottle is 50% off and there are beer deals, including a growler fill for $8. Seastar has two special wine lists “Hot” (their reserves with limited availability) and “Cool” (wines to drink today) which change daily. John Howie Steak also has a “Hot” wine list, bourbon on sale, and cocktail kits. Check out Seastar’s family dinners and frozen seafood boxes and Beardslee’s and Steak’s butcher boxes.
