Even though Fremont keeps growing, it's hard to move beyond that central "core" area. But you really must, as there are places like Chillies popping up. This Thai menu has over 70 items to offer, all at very reasonable prices. Two small rooms with orange walls and interesting art, and an open kitchen make up the restaurant. A nice deck out front is loud with traffic noise, but pleasantly outfitted with tables and umbrellas.
Specializing in Thai.

Rose and teal colors create a world of calm whether you're in the main dining room, the counter near the kitchen or a semi-private room with curtains closed. Set back from the street, this looks like a converted rambler with a nice front porch covered by a curved greenhouse-like roof (almost outside dining all year long!). Tables inside are close together; don't come here for a private conversation. Thai dishes are generally familiar, but there are some interesting rice dishes. Beer and wine.
