Bustle   206-819-4962
535 W McGraw St, Seattle   Queen Anne (Upper)
Bustle lives in a building that has seen plenty of bustling--it's over 100 years of age. Bustle owners have taken out the add-ons from over the years, returning the space to its original specifications and saving what they could. Inside, they offer handpicked beer and wine, natural teas and quality coffee. Simple foods are also offered--French pastries and organic baguette sandwiches. It's very much a neighborhood spot, with early hours so the neighbors can get their morning coffee fix!

Insomniax Coffee   206-322-6477
102 15th Ave E, Seattle   Capitol Hill

Remedy Teas   206-323-4832
345 15th Ave E, Seattle   Capitol Hill
It's tea with a twist--150 organic teas, many blends you won't see elsewhere. A glass partition separates the entry stairwell on the left and the wall on the right holds test tubes of tea leaves--yours to open and sniff. Numbers on the tubes match the paper menu as well as the cannisters on the back wall. The interior is bright with fresh green walls, white tile, brushed aluminum chairs and white leather rounds to sit on. In addition to tea, there are spiked tea cocktails (beer, wine), lattes and chai. There are eats, too--an olive bowl, nut bowl, rice cracker mix, desserts, candies and a full tea service--all vegetarian.
Specializing in Coffee & Tea, Vegetarian.

Breakfast and lunch are served at this cool but homey café on Capitol Hill. Panini at both meals are delicious, waffles and carmelized banana brioche French toast join the lineup on the weekends. Salads, a seasonal pot pie and quiche create a decision-making quandry at lunch. Monthly wine dinners on the second Friday of each month showcase mostly local wines and the creativity of Chef Ericka Burke. They also sell wine and beer to go--perfect for that quick stop on the way home.
Specializing in American, Coffee & Tea, Wine, Sandwiches, Breakfast, Lunch, Brunch (weekends).
